Why “What the Known Demands”
I have spent decades thinking about and enacting education (and the ways our formal efforts go astray), about teaching and learning (and the people who do that work), and about ethics (living well!) Here I’ll continue to do that with you, inspired in no small measure by American pragmatism, especially the thinking of John Dewey.
Working in two different but equally interesting universities in two very interesting cities (Nashville, TN and Lancaster, PA) — and in the schools in those towns — has left me with a little bit of wisdom and a whole lot to say.
